Quicktime Playback Errors ( -2002 and -2010 errors)

Quicktime has been known to have difficulty playing back many types of media files. If you are receiving this error message, we recommend using an alternate player. The video player that we recommend to all of our members is VLC player that can be downloaded for free at the following link: DOWNLOAD VLC PLAYER.

VLC is capable of playing back all media types. If You are using a PC with windows, you can also use the most recent version of Windows Media Player to playback files that display this error on Quicktime.

How to Download

To download, simply right-click on the resolution of the specific scene that you desire. You will be prompted with a menu. Select “Save target as” or “Save link as” and select a location on your computer that you wish to download the video to.

For Mac users, hold the “ctrl” button when you click on the desired resolution button.

Multiple Downloads

Members have the ability to download multiple videos at once. Please note that 10 or more connections will cause VideoboxMEN to block your downloads for a short period of time.

Slow Downloads

If you are experiencing sudden slow download speeds, this is more than likely temporary.

Our servers have the capacity to provide high download speeds to all of our users. However a reduction in speeds is often caused by member ISPs traffic shaping or ISPs being inundated with user traffic during peak hours (4pm-11pm PST). Many members experience improved speeds when accessing the site outside peak hours.

How to Stream Videos

For optimal streaming, we recommend using our video player to stream content from our site. To stream, simply click the “Play Now” button for the specific scene you wish to view.

You may also stream from specific points of a scene by hovering your mouse over a scene screen shot and selecting “Start Here.”

Members with good high speed connections may stream our WMV and H.264 content. To do so, simply left click the button of your desired WMV or H.264 resolution.

Choppy Streaming?

Members with slower internet connections can experience choppy and laggy streaming due to the large file sizes of our content. We recommend pausing the video for 10-30 seconds to allow the video to buffer.

Members can toggle between High and Low resolution on our player by pressing the “HQ” button on the player’s control panel. Switching to a lower resolution will improve video playback.

Unable to Stream?

Please make sure you have the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player installed. You can download Adobe Flash at the following link: click here.

Why can’t I Download Certain Videos?

If you are unable to download Evil Angel, Vivid, Kink, or Reality titles, you are currently subscribed to a normal VideoboxMEN subscription and would need to upgrade your subscription to access these premium studios.

My “Save Target as” Option is Grayed Out
